Iconic orange liqueur creator and cocktail pioneer, Maison Cointreau was founded in 1849 in Angers, France.

The brand’s heritage as a liquorist-distiller lives on today at the heart of more than 500 cocktails, including the original Margarita and Cosmopolitan. Cointreau liqueur’s distinctive character is the result of the meticulous selection, harmony, and distillation of sweet and bitter orange peel essences, a task entrusted to Maison Cointreau’s Master Distiller.

Mount Gay Rum, founded in 1703 on the island of Barbados, is the world’s oldest running rum distillery.

Harnessing over 320 years of experience, Mount Gay is crafted using pure, coral-filtered water and the finest Barbadian and Caribbean molasses.

Showcasing the classic, floral and elegant Bruichladdich house style, The Classic Laddie, one of the world’s most peated whiskies, is made from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled, non-chill filtered and colouring free, fully matured and bottled entirely on Islay.

Two other single malts, Port Charlotte 10-Year-Old and Octomore, one of the world’s most peaty whiskies, express with intensity the spirit and passion that drive the women, men and land of Islay.

The history of the Brillet family dates back to 1656, in the heart of the Cognac region, where ten generations have passed on their passion. A tribute from Jean-Louis Brillet to his wife Isabelle, this unique creation is distinguished by its emblematic pear-shaped bottle.

Belle de Brillet embodies the perfect blend of family tradition and innovative taste and has become the flagship of the Maison.

The Americas (48%) and the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (39%) are the division’s main contributors. Although smaller (13%), Asia-Pacific represents a major development opportunity for the division in the years ahead.

Following the non-renewal of most distribution contracts in recent years (as part of the Group’s policy of moving upmarket), the brands still distributed by the Rémy Cointreau network (as at March 31, 2025) are Passoã liqueur and some of the William Grant & Sons Group spirits.
