Remy Cointreau Rapport Annuel 2024 La Vie Des Marques
Sustainable Exception

Our CSR Transformation Plan

The secret of Rémy Cointreau’s excellence lies in the quality of its products, naturally, but also in its values, which are firmly embedded in the Group’s DNA and are the foundation of its raison d’être.
The international climate of recent years has only substantiated and strengthened the Group’s convictions. Already strongly committed to its environmental, social and societal responsibilities,
the Group has placed its CSR policy front and centre of its strategy.
As the roadmap for our sustainable transformation,
the “Sustainable Exception” plan sets out a series of targets to be achieved by 2025, 2030 and 2050.
The strategy is underpinned by three objectives:
-preserving our terroir,
-acting for our people and our communities,
-committing through time.

Transmitting Sustainable Exception, our Manifesto

Transmission is at the heart of our story.
For almost 300 years, our role as terroir custodians has guided our commitment to passing on our centuries-old know-how to future generations. Being a family business has also meant that we have spent decades protecting the people who make up our community and building a better future for generations to come. Sustainability is much more than an idea. It is at the heart of our purpose and is cultivated through everything we do.

Because climate change threatens the future of our terroirs.
Our exceptional wines and spirits take root in the soil of our terroirs. This is why we are committed, with our partner winegrowers and farmers, to deploying agroecological practices in order to meet climate challenges, become stakeholders of soil resilience and protect biodiversity.

Because together, we can make a difference.
At Rémy Cointreau, the environmental transition is inseparable from our human and social ambitions. We are a community of men and women united by the values of respect and excellence. Together with our employees, partners, farmers and bartenders, we are working to find concrete and sustainable solutions to gear up for our transition.

Because it is vital to make a long-term commitment.
By respecting the immutable rhythm of nature, we succeed in giving life to unique, iconic spirits, while preserving resources and reducing our impact.
At Rémy Cointreau, we believe that to produce exceptional champagnes and spirits we have to be exemplary, sincere and transparent. It is therefore across our entire sphere of responsibility – from our terroirs to the responsible consumption of our products – that we are committed to enacting and promoting more sustainable practices.

RÉMY COINTREAU – PASSING ON SUSTAINABLE EXCEPTION

Playing our part in building resilient terroirs to be part of the solution

Analysis by Laetitia Delaye

The economic struggles on our markets notwithstanding,
we are pursuing our CSR roadmap guided by our decision to focus on one critical goal in the medium to long term: the adaptation of our terroirs.
While the long-term resilience of our terroirs is vital for the continued survival of our exceptional wines and spirits,
the rollout of agroecological practices is also an opportunity to shift our ecosystem towards a virtuous transition for all stakeholders involved: a healthy soil that captures more carbon,
filters and retains water more effectively, and nourishes and regenerates biodiversity.
These efforts are crucial for the future of our terroirs and, by extension, for the activities of our Group.
